Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with 99.7% accuracy and weekly payment disbursement
- Manage confidential case files using VA's secure digital systems
- Coordinate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex veteran inquiries
- Generate monthly compliance reports for regional office oversight
- Train new staff on federal regulations and VA-specific protocols
- Conduct quality assurance audits on processed claims
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in VA's VBMS and VBA systems
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Knowledge of 38 CFR regulations and veterans' benefits
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
