Responsibilities
- Manage confidential veteran records and documentation systems
- Process benefit applications and eligibility verification
- Coordinate scheduling and communications with veteran stakeholders
- Prepare official reports and correspondence for leadership review
- Maintain compliance with federal privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Support outreach programs for veteran community engagement
- Train and mentor junior administrative staff
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of VA benefits systems preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with federal records management protocols
