Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications with precision and timeliness
- Process weekly payroll documentation for federal employees
- Maintain confidential records using VA's secure digital systems
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and scheduling
- Prepare detailed reports for compliance audits
- Assist veterans with benefit inquiries in person and via phone
- Support recruitment processes for federal positions
- Ensure adherence to federal HR regulations (5 CFR)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with federal HR systems (e.g., DEERS, HRIS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with payroll processing systems
- Knowledge of VA benefits programs preferred
