- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and scheduling for leadership
- Analyze operational metrics to identify process improvement opportunities
- Prepare official correspondence and compliance reports for federal audits
- Implement veteran service enhancement initiatives under VA guidelines
- Train temporary staff on federal compliance protocols
- Maintain secure databases in accordance with federal security standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- 3+ years administrative experience in federal/government settings
- Proficiency in VA systems (VISTA, VBMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR) and ethics guidelines
- Exceptional written communication skills with federal report drafting experience
- VA-specific certification (e.g., VHA TMS training) highly desirable
