Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and administrative meetings
- Maintain accurate federal records using VA-specific software systems
- Process payroll and expense reports with weekly payment cycles
- Communicate effectively with veterans, families, and interagency partners
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and VA policies
- Support special projects related to veteran services and outreach
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for federal employment
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal record-keeping systems
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of VA benefits processes preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
