Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential records, databases, and filing systems in compliance with federal regulations
- Process administrative tasks including correspondence, reports, and official documentation
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics for department leadership
- Provide frontline support to internal staff and external stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with budget tracking, procurement requests, and expense reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal policies, security protocols, and data privacy standards
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal position mandate)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience in a government or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of federal record-keeping procedures and protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
