Responsibilities
- Manage complex scheduling systems for 15+ senior officials across multiple departments
- Coordinate inter-agency communications and maintain secure document repositories
- Prepare executive-level correspondence and official government reports
- Oversee budget tracking and procurement processes for $2M+ annual operations
- Implement FOIA request protocols and ensure regulatory compliance
- Train staff on federal record-keeping procedures and security protocols
- Support veteran outreach initiatives through event coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years federal administrative experience with GS-7/GS-9 level responsibilities
- Proficiency in GSA systems (e.g., MAX, SAM.gov) and federal travel regulations
- Advanced knowledge of FOIA, Privacy Act, and records management laws
- Exceptional written communication skills for official documentation
- Security clearance eligibility or current clearance preferred
- Experience with VA-specific programs (e.g., VBA, VHA) highly desirable
