Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex electronic/digital filing systems with 100% compliance to federal records management standards
- Coordinate executive calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for department leadership
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and briefings adhering to strict federal formatting protocols
- Process personnel actions, travel vouchers, and procurement requests through federal systems
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders regarding administrative procedures
- Implement and optimize office workflow processes using Microsoft Office Suite
- Support budget tracking and financial documentation for departmental operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years professional administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR) and records management (NARA standards)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background clearance
- Exceptional written communication skills demonstrated through federal-style report writing
- Proven experience managing executive-level scheduling and complex calendars
- Professional certification (e.g., AAP, CDA) preferred
