Responsibilities
- Manage electronic and physical records systems with 100% accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate executive communications, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars
- Process personnel actions, travel authorizations, and procurement requests using VA-specific software
- Serve as primary liaison between departments for administrative policy implementation
- Analyze workflow processes to identify efficiency improvements and implement solutions
- Prepare complex reports using Excel and VA databases for leadership review
- Ensure all documentation meets federal FOIA and privacy act standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA-specific systems (VISTA, VBMS)
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in record management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Experience with federal procurement and travel regulations
