Responsibilities
- Manage the complex calendar and schedule of senior federal officials, including domestic and international travel arrangements and high-stakes meeting coordination.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute high-level correspondence, briefing materials, and official memorandums in strict adherence to OPM and agency guidelines.
- Oversee office operations, including supply management, vendor relations, and strict compliance with federal security and safety protocols.
- Process incoming correspondence, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, and inter-agency communications with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate inter-departmental training sessions and meetings, taking detailed minutes and ensuring all action items are tracked and resolved.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems for sensitive federal records and case files.
- Assist in the preparation of budget proposals and expense reports for the regional office.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience within the federal government or a highly regulated corporate environment is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of federal regulations, including the Standards for Ethical Conduct, Privacy Act, and FAM guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with government-specific case management software.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
