Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate Social Security claims with 99% accuracy while maintaining strict compliance with federal regulations
- Manage complex case files using SSA's proprietary systems (eBENEFITS, MSSICS)
- Provide exceptional customer service to 50+ daily inquiries via phone, email, and in-person appointments
- Prepare detailed correspondence and reports for senior leadership and congressional inquiries
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with IT, legal, and benefits departments
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for protected PII data
- Train and mentor new administrative staff on SSA procedures and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex federal regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- Experience with federal records management (NARA standards)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
