Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive federal filing systems and records in strict accordance with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) standards.
- Process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and Freedom of Information Privacy Act (FOIPA) requests with accuracy and speed.
- Coordinate complex inter-agency communications, including scheduling high-level meetings and preparing briefing materials for senior leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DoD) administrative policies.
- Oversee travel arrangements and expense reporting for federal staff, ensuring adherence to per diem and travel regulations.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external correspondence, including memos, directives, and official statements.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain the necessary government security clearance.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or state administrative roles, with proven experience handling sensitive information.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with case management software (e.g., Salesforce, iManage).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume data entry and document management.
