Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with precision and compliance to federal regulations
- Manage daily administrative tasks including document scanning, filing, and data entry
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone and in-person
- Utilize VA systems (VBMS, VBA) for case management and record-keeping
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve complex veteran inquiries
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and statistical documentation
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for sensitive veteran data
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background check and security clearance
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills
- Experience with government systems or veteran services preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
