Responsibilities
- Process and manage veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate multi-agency communications and documentation for veteran case files
- Utilize federal databases (e.g., VBMS, VBA) to track and update claim statuses
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone, email, and in-person
- Prepare detailed reports and correspondence for senior leadership reviews
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex veteran inquiries
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations and privacy guidelines (HIPAA, FERPA)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional attention to detail and data management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
