Responsibilities
- Process and verify veterans' benefit applications with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate case files across VA medical and benefits departments
- Manage confidential veteran records using federal systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Respond to urgent inquiries from veterans and family members
- Generate monthly reports for leadership review
- Train temporary staff on federal compliance protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance within 30 days
- Experience with federal document management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating weekends for urgent cases
