- Provide comprehensive administrative support to veteran service programs
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and outreach events
- Process and verify eligibility documentation for federal benefits
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and statistical summaries
- Assist with onboarding and training for new administrative staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline service delivery
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a federal or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background clearance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience with record management systems (e.g., VISTA, VBMS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
