Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit documentation and case files with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve benefit eligibility inquiries
- Process administrative requests within strict SLA timelines
- Maintain secure electronic records using VA systems (VBA/VISN)
- Support outreach initiatives for underserved veteran communities
- Prepare reports for senior leadership on program metrics
- Train temporary staff on VA protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal employment)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 3+ years administrative experience in government/compliance roles
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and VA-specific software
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran data with HIPAA/GINA compliance
- Proven track record in high-volume document processing
- Strong written communication skills for federal correspondence
