Responsibilities
- Coordinate veteran benefits enrollment and documentation processes
- Manage electronic health records and administrative databases
- Serve as primary liaison between veterans and clinical departments
- Process travel authorizations and expense reports for staff
- Prepare official correspondence and compliance reports
- Train new staff on VA administrative protocols
- Support facility-wide compliance audits
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (mandatory for federal employment)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in healthcare/government
- Proficiency in VA VISTA system and Microsoft Office Suite
- VA Form 10-2850c application submission
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Knowledge of HIPAA and veterans' affairs regulations
- Valid Oregon driver's license
- Experience with veteran advocacy preferred
