Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential records in compliance with federal regulations and VA protocols
- Coordinate executive communications, scheduling, and travel arrangements for senior leadership
- Prepare and distribute official correspondence, reports, and policy documents
- Oversee budget tracking, procurement processes, and expense reconciliation
- Serve as primary liaison between department heads and external stakeholders
- Implement and optimize administrative workflows using VA systems
- Ensure compliance with federal records management and security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience in federal/government environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and federal databases (VA systems preferred)
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement and records management regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
