Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming communications, including emails, letters, and phone inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Coordinate and schedule complex travel arrangements and logistics for agency leadership and visiting officials.
- Maintain and organize classified and unclassified records in compliance with federal retention schedules and regulations.
- Prepare, edit, and format a variety of official documents, reports, and presentations using MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase orders and tracking vendor performance.
- Facilitate inter-agency communications and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders at the regional office.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, preferably within the federal government or a large-scale corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) systems is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Justice Secret Security Clearance.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
