Responsibilities
- Office Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the federal office, ensuring a smooth workflow and high standards of professional conduct.
- Federal Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to federal regulations, agency policies, and security protocols (e.g., OMB Circulars, NIST guidelines).
- Records Management: Organize, maintain, and secure sensitive federal records and documents, ensuring proper archiving and retrieval systems.
- Correspondence & Communication: Draft, proofread, and distribute official correspondence, memos, and reports to stakeholders and agency officials.
- Procurement Support: Assist in the preparation of requisitions, purchase orders, and tracking of office supplies and equipment for federal contracts.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate meetings, briefings, and conferences, including arranging venues and preparing presentation materials.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal, military, or high-level administrative support roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with federal case management systems (e.g., JPay, EOP) is highly desirable.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and administrative compliance standards.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior officials and the public.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
