Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefits claims with precision and confidentiality
- Manage electronic records and databases using federal systems
- Respond to veteran inquiries via phone, email, and secure messaging
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve benefit discrepancies
- Prepare routine reports and statistical summaries for leadership review
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, VA policies)
- Train new staff on administrative procedures and systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Strong attention to detail with error-free documentation
- Experience working with diverse populations preferred
- Ability to work independently in a weekend shift environment
- Knowledge of VA benefits systems (VBA, VHA) a plus
