Responsibilities
- Manage veteran records using VA systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Process weekly payroll for 100+ employees within strict deadlines
- Coordinate with federal agencies for compliance documentation
- Prepare administrative reports for leadership review
- Support veteran outreach initiatives in Philadelphia area
- Maintain confidential files in accordance with federal regulations
- Train junior staff on administrative procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and federal background clearance
- 3+ years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in VA systems (VISTA, CPRS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of federal HR/payroll regulations (FPM, 5 CFR)
- Excellent written communication skills for policy documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive veteran information with discretion
- Experience with Philadelphia-area veteran services preferred
- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
