Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefits claims with 99% accuracy using federal systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Coordinate multi-departmental operations including scheduling, record management, and compliance audits
- Support HR functions onboarding new federal employees with background checks and credential verification
- Manage digital document archives ensuring HIPAA/FERPA compliance and secure data handling
- Analyze operational metrics to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce processing delays
- Respond to congressional inquiries and veteran correspondence within 24-hour SLA
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (per federal employment regulations)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government/regulated industry
- Proficiency in federal systems (e.g., VA OASIS, SharePoint, eOPF)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Professional certification (e.g., AAPC, CDA) preferred
