Responsibilities
- Conduct border security operations and law enforcement patrols along designated areas
- Investigate and apprehend individuals violating immigration and customs laws
- Collect and analyze intelligence related to cross-border threats
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies for coordinated enforcement
- Maintain detailed case documentation and prepare official reports
- Operate specialized law enforcement equipment and surveillance systems
- Provide testimony in judicial proceedings and administrative hearings
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of law enforcement or federal service experience
- Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Pass background check, medical examination, and fitness test
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, homeland security, or related field
- Proficiency in Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and in outdoor/remote environments
