Responsibilities
- Manage federal employee benefits enrollment and compliance
- Process health insurance, retirement, and leave requests
- Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires
- Maintain confidential employee records and documentation
- Collaborate with HR teams on policy implementation
- Analyze benefits utilization and recommend improvements
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (FEGLI, TSP, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of employee benefits administration experience
- Federal HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP)
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, Workday)
- Knowledge of federal benefits regulations (5 CFR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
