Responsibilities
- Manage and process weekly payroll documentation and timekeeping records with high accuracy.
- Assist federal employees with inquiries regarding health benefits, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, OPM guidelines, and agency policies.
- Maintain confidential employee records and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with the HR team to streamline onboarding and offboarding processes for new federal hires.
- Conduct audits of departmental files to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for federal employment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration, payroll processing, or government services.
- Strong knowledge of federal benefits systems (e.g., USAJOBS, OPM resources) is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex policies clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
