Responsibilities
- Client Intake & Processing: Conduct comprehensive interviews with applicants to gather necessary documentation for federal benefit programs.
- Case Management: Review applications for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations, ensuring timely processing.
- Regulatory Adherence: Stay up-to-date with changes in federal laws and ensure all agency procedures are followed meticulously.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to citizens, resolving complex issues and answering inquiries regarding benefits.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records of all client interactions and case statuses within the secure federal database.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Business, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in government services, customer relations, or administrative support.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with federal case management software is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex policies to diverse audiences.
- Integrity: Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with federal privacy laws.
