Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned border areas to detect and prevent illegal entry of individuals and contraband
- Conduct interviews, investigations, and surveillance operations
- Apprehend individuals violating immigration and customs laws
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain case documentation
- Operate specialized law enforcement equipment and vehicles
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies
- Respond to emergency situations and provide humanitarian assistance
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of work experience or bachelor's degree
- Ability to pass background investigation and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness to meet rigorous operational demands
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken)
