Responsibilities
- Review and process incoming federal claims and benefit applications with high accuracy.
- Verify documentation to ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.
- Communicate professionally with claimants via phone and email to resolve inquiries.
- Update and maintain accurate records in our secure database systems.
- Identify discrepancies in claims data and escalate complex issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly audit reports and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, data entry, or government contracting is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
