Responsibilities
- Review and process veterans' disability compensation claims with 99% accuracy
- Communicate claim status updates via VA's secure digital platforms
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal teams to gather supporting documentation
- Maintain detailed case records in VA's Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS)
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure regulatory compliance
- Respond to veteran inquiries within 24 hours through VA's customer service portal
- Participate in quarterly training on policy updates and procedural changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in claims processing or federal benefits administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be U.S. citizen and pass federal background check
