Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal healthcare regulations (VA, HIPAA, OSHA) for operational compliance
- Conduct comprehensive audits of clinical and administrative processes
- Develop corrective action plans for compliance deficiencies
- Collaborate with department heads to implement policy updates
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and best practices
- Stay current with evolving federal healthcare legislation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- VA facility experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS regulations
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Proficient in compliance management software (e.g., VistA, Cerner)
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
