Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, DFARS) for compliance implementation
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for security protocols
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to audit policies and procedures
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and congressional oversight
- Lead training initiatives for staff on regulatory updates and best practices
- Collaborate with legal counsel on regulatory changes and enforcement actions
- Maintain compliance documentation and audit trails in federal systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST, CUI)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in audit software (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Experience with federal procurement and contracting processes
