Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal healthcare regulations including HIPAA, CMS, and ACA guidelines
- Conduct comprehensive audits of healthcare provider documentation and billing practices
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal teams to interpret and apply complex federal statutes
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for congressional oversight committees
- Train federal staff and external partners on regulatory requirements
- Stay current with evolving federal healthcare policies and legislative changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of federal compliance experience in healthcare sector
- Active Federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expert knowledge of CMS regulations and HIPAA compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certified Healthcare Compliance Professional (CHC) or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with federal procurement and grant management systems
