Responsibilities
- Design and implement epidemiological surveillance systems for disease prevention
- Analyze public health data to identify trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Develop community health outreach programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations on health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state and federal compliance requirements
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
- Mentor junior staff and train healthcare partners on public health protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong knowledge of Florida public health regulations
- Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Valid Florida driver's license
