Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance audits for Medicare/Medicaid providers
- Investigate potential fraud and abuse in federal healthcare programs
- Develop and implement corrective action plans
- Collaborate with DOJ and OIG on enforcement cases
- Train healthcare providers on federal regulations
- Prepare detailed investigation reports for congressional review
- Maintain confidential case files per federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare compliance auditing
- Active Federal Background Investigation clearance or ability to obtain
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Expertise in HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Tableau, SAS)
- Valid California driver's license
