Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OMB) across all facility operations
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for non-compliance issues
- Collaborate with legal counsel and department heads on compliance strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities and findings
- Train staff on federal compliance requirements and best practices
- Stay current on evolving federal regulations and policy changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance experience
- VA healthcare or government agency background strongly preferred
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification
- Expert knowledge of federal healthcare regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
