As a Federal Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of federal contracts and ensuring our team meets all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor federal contracts to ensure strict compliance with agency regulations and budgetary requirements.
- Prepare and submit weekly timesheets and payroll documentation to ensure timely payment.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues before they escalate.
- Liaise between federal clients, vendors, and internal departments to resolve contract disputes efficiently.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all federal project activities and deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed reports for federal oversight bodies and agency leadership.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure all federal hiring and onboarding protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold or be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal contract administration or public sector project management.
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and OPM guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal case management software (e.g., JTA, ESS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and attention to detail.
