Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA policies) across all facility operations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and risk assessments for veteran services
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for regulatory deficiencies
- Coordinate with VA leadership on compliance initiatives and policy updates
- Train staff on federal compliance requirements and best practices
- Manage documentation and reporting for regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with OIG and other federal oversight agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance experience (VA experience preferred)
- Expert knowledge of VA regulations and federal healthcare standards
- Strong analytical skills for complex regulatory interpretation
- Ability to manage multiple compliance initiatives simultaneously
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CHC) highly desirable
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
