Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for medical facilities
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff
- Prepare detailed regulatory reports for senior leadership
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy updates and regulatory changes
- Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions
- Stay current on federal healthcare legislation and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance experience in federal or healthcare sector
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and VA guidelines
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in compliance management software and MS Office Suite
