Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal healthcare regulations including HIPAA, VA directives, and OMB circulars
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments across clinical departments
- Develop training programs for staff on federal compliance protocols
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective action plans
- Collaborate with legal and leadership teams on policy development
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies
- Stay current with evolving federal healthcare legislation and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance experience in healthcare or government sector
- Knowledge of VA regulations, HIPAA, and CMS guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
