Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal regulatory compliance across Ohio jurisdiction
- Conduct audits and investigations of state/local agency operations
- Collaborate with DOJ attorneys on legal compliance documentation
- Develop training materials for state/local partners on federal mandates
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for congressional oversight committees
- Coordinate interagency task force operations during emergency deployments
- Stay current on evolving federal regulations and policy changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal/state/local government compliance experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance)
- Proficiency in federal regulatory databases (e.g., FedReg, GPO)
- Advanced knowledge of Ohio Revised Code and federal CFR
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Exceptional written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work extended hours during crisis situations
