Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments across medical facilities
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for compliance gaps
- Coordinate with legal and medical teams on regulatory updates
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Maintain documentation for federal audits and inspections
- Collaborate with regional compliance officers on policy implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance/regulatory experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of federal healthcare regulations (VA, CMS, HIPAA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., MetricStream)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
