Responsibilities
- Analyze federal regulations and ensure state/local alignment across Texas jurisdictions
- Conduct compliance audits for federal agencies operating in Texas
- Develop training programs for state/local partners on federal compliance protocols
- Coordinate cross-jurisdictional enforcement actions with federal, state, and local authorities
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for DHS leadership and congressional committees
- Investigate potential violations of federal statutes in Texas
- Liaise with Texas state agencies to resolve jurisdictional conflicts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance or law enforcement experience
- Active TS/SCI security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Deep knowledge of federal/state/local regulatory frameworks in Texas
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., FedRAMP, CUI)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across multi-agency teams
- U.S. citizenship and valid Texas driver's license
