Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to prevent crime and ensure public safety
- Respond rapidly to emergency calls and critical incidents
- Enforce local ordinances and state regulations with professionalism
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies during joint operations
- Document incidents with detailed reports and evidence collection
- Provide community education on safety protocols
- Support disaster response and crisis management initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky Peace Officer certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- High school diploma with 2 years law enforcement/security experience
- U.S. citizenship and clean criminal background check
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work rotating shifts
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in report writing and digital evidence systems
