Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OMB) across departmental operations
- Conduct internal audits and prepare detailed compliance reports for leadership review
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified regulatory gaps
- Coordinate with legal teams to ensure alignment with federal policy updates
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Manage documentation systems for audit readiness and record retention
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Proficiency with compliance software (e.g., Promapp, Compliance.ai)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- US citizenship required
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
