Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal/state/local regulations for veteran healthcare services
- Conduct compliance audits and implement corrective action plans
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation and reporting systems
- Collaborate with legal and policy teams on regulatory updates
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Investigate and resolve compliance discrepancies
- Represent the department in regulatory reviews and inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal/state compliance roles
- Knowledge of VA regulations and healthcare compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., ComplyAssistant)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- U.S. citizenship required
