Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations including 38 CFR and VA policies
- Conduct compliance audits across VA facilities in Middle Tennessee
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff
- Investigate and resolve regulatory violations with corrective action plans
- Collaborate with OIG and other federal oversight agencies
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation in federal systems
- Advise leadership on regulatory changes and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal compliance experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR)
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Proficiency with VA systems (VISTA, CPRS)
- Excellent written communication for policy documentation
