Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, VA directives)
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements for regulatory adherence
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy updates and regulatory changes
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior leadership
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal compliance or regulatory affairs
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of VA regulations and federal healthcare standards
- Proficient in compliance management software (e.g., ComplianceLine)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
