Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory compliance across North Carolina agencies
- Conduct audits of state/local programs for adherence to 42 CFR and 7 CFR standards
- Collaborate with legal teams to update compliance frameworks
- Train stakeholders on federal policy updates and procedural changes
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for Congressional oversight committees
- Lead cross-functional initiatives between federal, state, and municipal partners
- Manage $2M+ grant budgets with strict fiduciary oversight
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 5+ years federal/state/local government compliance experience
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Expertise in OMB Circular A-133 and FAR Part 31
- CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or CCEP-AC certification preferred
- Proficiency with GSA Advantage and SAM.gov procurement systems
- Demonstrated crisis management in regulatory enforcement scenarios
- Advanced knowledge of NC state statutes 143-64 through 143-69
